I recently finished a couple of shop projects: one for some clients with a great bookshelf and even better books, and the other is a prototype built with 1st growth fir timber, which was recycled from lumber pulled out of the original Vancouver Hudsons Bay department store. I managed to finish the bench with no help from glue or fasteners…stoked!

The Red Flag crew also helped me make these leather “Lock Doctors” for Tyler over at Super Champion. They are made from recycled 1/8th leather, stamped, and dipped in Redwing boot oil. They will work with standard belts of 1 1/2″ and can be used with most U-locks. No more broken back pockets on your favorite denims. Recently I seem to be spending alot of time in the metal and wood shops. I am super lucky: MIG, TIG, Oxy-acetylene, Plasma cutter…more to follow if all goes as planned.
